Three MA Police Officers 'Stabbed,' 'Slashed' In Incident

An armed suspect has allegedly "stabbed" and "slashed" three police officers with a knife.

On the morning of Thursday, Aug. 6, three Saugus police officers responding to a situation on Tuttle Street were injured by a suspect with a knife, police said.

The officers were transported to a Boston hospital and are expected to survive, police said.

The suspect was taken into custody, police said.
